Q: Can you tell us a little about your background?

A: I attended Medical school at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and then completed residency at Columbia in New York city. I specialize in Internal Medicine and have numerous years of experience working in clinic and a variety of hospitals in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine.

Q. How would you describe your approach to patients?

A: If you are looking for a doctor who listens first, prescribes later, and always treats her patients with a smile, I am the physician for you!

Q: Do you offer services targeted to women's health?

A: Yes, we offer a whole range of services for women; Well Women Exams, Pap smears, birth control options, breast exams with/without mammography, natural hormone replacement therapy and weight loss management.

Q. Do you offer services targeted to men's health?

A: We offer screening for testicular, prostrate and colon cancer for men. We also offer screening for cardiovascular health including cholesterol and fat testing. We provide Natural hormone replacement therapy for men for balancing of testosterone hormone as men age.

Q: Tell us more about Phoenix Family Medical Clinic?

A: The Phoenix Family Medical group has been providing quality medical care to patients in Phoenix and was looking to expand into an area that was in need of quality family medical care. So, I joined forces with them to combine their practice efficiency and my expertise in family practice and open a clinic focused on patient care above all else. Our clinic is completely digital and uses no paper charts; we use an EMR (Electronic Medical records) system to manage patient history, diagnosis, prescriptions and follow ups. We serve the Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa Gilbert, Chandler, Ahwatukee, Laveen, Scottsdale and South Phoenix areas.

Q: Does Phoenix Family Medical Clinic accept Walk ins and Same day appointments?

A: We are a Family clinic that accepts Walk Ins and offers convenient evening hours. We provide medical care to all ages; from infants to seniors. We provide immunizations, physicals, treatment of chronic conditions, treatment of hypertension and diabetes, perform clinical procedures and offer Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy. We also do Well Women gynecology exams, including pap smears and Well Child exams in the clinic. My emphasis has always been on disease prevention with life style changes, rather than focusing on drug interventions. I am a patient advocate and pay particular attention to individualized care. My colleague, Dr. Napoleon Ortiz, MD and I will be focused on your medical treatment with a holistic view of overall health. Q: What does your clinic have in store for the future?

A: We have exciting new services planned for the future including weekend hours, blood tests on site and addition of a naturopathic physician to complement our holistic approach to health. We will be offering Allergy testing and treatment in the clinic very shortly.
